TUG Connects 2012!
was held February 15-18, 2012, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country, in San Antonio Texas. Why was this our most attended event ever?
Hear it from those who came:
invited all licensed users of Infor10 Distribution products to attend their annual educational and networking conference. Users used this opportunity to connect and share with other Infor10 Distribution users, Infor10 Distribution product management and key personnel, industry consultants and technology gurus along with third party providers offering one-stop distribution technology shopping.
PRODUCT DIRECTION AND EDUCATION
Attendees spent a day of strategic Special Interest Group meetings, meeting with Infor to give their input into future product direction, before spending three more full days of technical training, inspiring keynote speakers, breakthrough product demos, and invaluable roundtable discussions.
Our trade show featured third party product and service providers that our user members were already using (a key approval requirement for our user-run organization.)
Everyone knows that the most valuable conversations at a conference are in the halls. And the lounges. And the line at Starbucks. We added two happy hours in the Distribution Marketplace, a BBQ, Hoedown and Poker Showdown at a working Longhorn cattle ranch, a Pub Crawl on Saturday evening on the Riverwalk of San Antonio and provided a great rate for attendees to play on a championship TPC Golf course- all to maximize the 'hallway' conversation opportunities and provide users with relationship building experiences to grow their networks.
